💁🏼♀️A little about me, I’m corporate by day, yogini by night and teach yoga part time as it’s a passion of mine.
I need Yin Yoga, meditation and other tools to help me deal with the demands of work, juggling commitments and life stresses.
These tools help me avoid burnout, tapping more into my parasympathetic nervous system more (relaxation response).
I want to teach you these tools so you can avoid burnout, feelings of overwhelm and manage stress better. We can’t feel energized if we aren’t doing things to recharge ourselves. Just like a phone runs out when used often of batteries…so do we.

Yin yoga gets its name from the concept of "Yin" and "Yang," which are fundamental principles in traditional Chinese philosophy, particularly in Taoism. Yin and Yang represent two opposing, yet complementary, forces that are interconnected and interdependent.
YOGA has gained popularity worldwide, but along with its growth, several myths have emerged.
Here are some common misconceptions about yoga along with their debunking:
Avoiding holiday season burnout involves pacing yourself, setting boundaries, and prioritizing self-care. I’m sure we’ve all felt when the holidays get to us, sometimes even getting sick with the flu is due to overcommitting and not allowing ourselves time to rest.
The holiday season is upon us. It can be a fun time, but also a stressful time as lots of events can go on and we can forget to take time for ourselves.
Reflection offers numerous benefits across various aspects of life. Before putting pen to paper and getting into the journal prompts, let’s talk about the benefits of reflecting on your past year.
Here are some quotes on sleep:
1. "A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything." - Irish Proverb
2. "Sleep is the best meditation." - Dalai Lama
In the fast-paced, stress-filled world we live in, the quest for a good night's sleep has become a universal challenge. As sleep-related issues, particularly insomnia, continue to affect a significant portion of the global population, individuals are increasingly turning to holistic and natural approaches to address their sleep concerns. One such approach that has garnered significant attention is the use of meditation as a tool for improving sleep quality and alleviating insomnia. In this article, we will explore the growing interest in meditation for sleep, examining its principles, techniques, and the scientific evidence supporting its efficacy.
Meditation is a personal practice that can take many forms, and there are numerous tips and tricks to enhance your experience.
Yin yoga can be a beneficial practice for athletes as it complements more dynamic forms of exercise by targeting the connective tissues in the body, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. It involves holding poses for an extended period, typically 3 to 5 minutes or longer, which allows for a deep stretch and stimulates the flow of energy (chi or prana) through the body.
In the dynamic world of sports and athletics, where strength, speed, and endurance often take the spotlight, there's a quiet yet powerful practice making waves—Yin Yoga. While more traditional forms of exercise focus on building muscle and improving cardiovascular fitness, Yin Yoga offers a unique approach that can be a game-changer for athletes. In this article, we'll explore the benefits of Yin Yoga and delve into why incorporating this practice into an athlete's routine can lead to enhanced performance, improved recovery, and overall well-being.
Post-holiday blues can be tough, right? But there's a lot to look forward to! Think about setting new goals for the year, planning small outings or gatherings with friends/family, picking up a new hobby, or simply taking time for self-care. It's also a great time to organize, declutter, or try something different.
